Palmovka

A junction of the subway, streetcars, and buses, only a few minutes away from Karlín, Holešovice, or downtown Prague. Divadlo pod Palmovkou

The one of Prague's prominent theater companies. The theater building has recently undergone a complete renovation. Performances are once again regularly sold out thanks to excellent actors and an attractive selection of both classic and modern plays.

DOCK PARK

Sport

The park inside the DOCK IN complex features a running track and a modern fitness facility. Paddleboards, kayaks, and boats can be rented in an adjacent marina.If you prefer ball games, there are tennis and volleyball courts only 500 meters from DOCK IN. Alternatively, you can challenge the team from the neighboring office to a soccer match at a nearby soccer field.

Thomayerovy sady

The locality owes its charming atmosphere to Dr. Thomayer, a famous 19th century Czech garden designer. Children can visit a large playground, go biking or skating, or jog from Libeň as far as Troja.

Základní škola a gymnázium

The Bohumil Hrabal Elementary School is located only a few minutes from DOCK IN. Likewise, the nearby U Libeňského Zámku High School is one of the oldest and largest schools of this type in Prague.

Libeňský zámek

The chateau has been reconstructed on numerous occasions. It owes its romantic character to the last remodeling, rendered in the Late Baroque style. The chateau is frequently used as a venue for weddings. You will fall in love with it, as you will with the nearby Löwit Mill.

Bohumil Hrabal

One of the most translated Czech authors spent more than two decades at Na hrázi 326/24 in the Borough of Libeň. Even though his former home was torn down during the construction of the Prague Metro, the spirit of Bohumil Hrabal lives on. Libeň is depicted in several of his picturesque books, such as In-House Weddings and The Gentle Barbarian.
