Autumn Magazine issue is here
The last warm days are slowly fading, making way for Indian summer – a time of evening walks, romantic sunsets, but also the return from vacations and holidays. For many of us, it means preparing business plans for the coming year and children heading back to school or moving up a grade. It’s a season of new beginnings, but also a moment when shorter days and worsening weather can more easily bring stress and fatigue. All the more reason not to forget about ourselves and our mental well-being.
That’s why in this issue of our magazine we focus on mental health – both for adults and children. We talk with child clinical psychologist Karolina Štětinová from Kind Place about the many factors shaping a child’s personality – from upbringing to everyday influences that form behavior. Psychologist and psychotherapist Markéta Miláčková Čermáková from NEO Centrum then explains why mental health across generations has worsened in recent years, what causes lie behind it, and how profoundly the Covid pandemic has affected the situation.
Autumn blues can easily be chased away by good food. And now, alongside our existing restaurants, a newcomer joins DOCK – KRO, a bistro and bakery. What they’re bringing to the table and what’s ahead, you’ll find out in the new issue of DOCK Magazine, available at all receptions and online here at dock.cz.
