Thanks to the abundant greenery and the river, it is one of the most attractive parts of Prague. The city district of Libeň has a bright future ahead of it. This part of the city, formerly rather industrial, is quickly changing into a fast-developing site not only because of the proximity of Prague's centre, but particularly thanks to its charming atmosphere and energy.
One of the main landmarks of the DOCK project is the wharf with a pier. Its residents as well as visitors will have a chance to relish the unique atmosphere not dissimilar from that of a seaside resort, with romantic walks along the promenade rimmed with trees or a direct view of the Vltava River. The positioning of the marina on the Vltava River is ideal for weekend trips by boat e.g. to the Slapy Reservoir. The site is also easily accessible from the centre of Prague by boat.
The whole DOCK project is situated in Libeň, on the site of former docks, adjacent to Karlín and Holešovice. It borders on Vltava, the Libeň Bridge, the Voctářova Street and, in the north, the Thomayer Gardens. The Libeň Castle and the Löwit Mill are situated in its immediate vicinity. The nearby Palmovka locality offers full civic amenities - schools, sporting grounds, health care facilities, a post office, a theatre, shops and restaurants.
